I'm Donald Killian, and the proud owner of TX Home Pro. As a McKinney native who has lived within 50 miles of this community my entire life, I take pride in serving my neighbors with honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship they can trust.

For the past 14 years, TX Home Pro has been dedicated to providing reliable handyman and remodeling services throughout the North Texas area. We’ve even been named as one of the Best Home Remodelers and Best Handyman Services in the region (Living Magazine)—a reflection of our commitment to doing the right thing for every client.

Unlike many contractors, we keep our work in-house: every project is completed by myself, my son, or one of our trusted employees. We never use day laborers or subcontractors, and we never will. That’s our way of ensuring quality, accountability, and consistency in every job we take on.

I'm River Benton, the Project Coordinator here at TX Home Pro, working alongside my dad and company owner, Donald Killian. I grew up in McKinney, and after earning my bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, I returned back to North Texas to rejoin the crew.

I’ve been helping out at TX Home Pro since I was 11 and officially joined the team at 15. Having spent years learning the trade directly from my dad, I’ve seen firsthand how transforming a home can change how people live — and that’s what motivates me every day.

Whether we’re remodeling a kitchen or taking on a small repair, I’m committed to bringing the same honesty, craftsmanship, and care that define our family business.
